I wanted to paint something to celebrate love and community. The painting is supposed to feel like colour is exploding out of the black and white Collingwood Terminals to bring joy and excitement to the viewer.
The building is an iconic historical grain elevator that sticks out in the South Georgian Bay skyline, providing a sense of place and a sense of home.
